The location of this establishment is astounding. We went in March, so we didn't get the full beach experience. Nevertheless, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location looks great and the interior is modern and open with a touch of the seaside aesthetic. The breadsticks were top notch and the pizza was also exceptional. They had coasters for our drinks, always stopped by to bring us refills or check on us. The service is amazing and the food is excellent. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend, and the locals also seem to adore it!
We live in Chicago--the literal city of pizza. No one beats our pizza, right? The locals know tavern-style pizza is the REAL Chicago pizza, while out-of-town guests always ask for the deep-dish spots or the overhyped place with the "caramelized " *cough cough* (burnt cheese) on the crust. My fiancée is more of a "eat to live" kind of guy, compared to my "live to eat" personality, but let me tell you, he has never said no when I have suggested the over an hour drive here from Chicago for their specialty Harvest pizza. It is unlike any other pizza you have ever had. Light brown sugar, butternut squash, crispy kale, and bacon? A wide variety of flavors that just work together. We have no interest in ever trying anything else here. My daughter enjoys playing with dough, and we love the outdoor views during the warmer months, especially the water play area and the famous carousel. We visit St. Joseph and the surrounding areas several times a year, and we hope Silver Beach will be around for many more years to come!
Truly one of my favorite pizza places. I always look forward to family trips to St Joe because I know we'll come to Silver Beach! The crust of the pizza is crunchy and soooo fine. I'm partial to anything with sausage! Their greek bruschetta is heavenly and full of all my favs (especially garlic!) and such a fun take on a classic appetizer. The atmosphere is always lively and the service great. Highly recommend. It could be my favorite pizza... maybe ever.
I simply can't recommend this place more. It's the most recommended place in the area and it crushes everything. Atmosphere. Food. Drinks. Service. Vibe. I cannot express how awesome this place is. (We love over an hour away and don't know anyone who lives here)
Wow! Thank goodness for bar seating! The wait was 2-2.5 hours Saturday afternoon. We lucked out! We ordered the Sicilian pizza medium which was phenomenal! Salami, sausage, pepperoni and olives! Perfection and not bad for breakfast either... we had leftovers My schooner of sangria was perfect on this hot day. I absolutely loved the jalapeño margarita as well. The tequila is infused with jalapeños impeccably! I am so glad we came here. Best meal we've had in St Joe
The best pizza I've had all summer! Instead of just having classic mozzarella on our pizza, we added Gouda and it was fantastic! The mozzarella sticks and breadsticks were also delicious. For those 21+, the margarita schooners are the best. So tasty and cold! We will literally drive 2 hours just to get a pizza from here every summer! If you go in the summer, know that the wait will be at least an hour. Bring cards to play outside or head over for a carousel ride while you wait. It's worth the wait!
